Introduction of Tigáz-DSO
Pursuant to Act XLII. of 2003 on natural gas supply and the 2003/55/EC. European Parliament and Council Directive, TIGÁZ Zrt. founded TIGÁZ-DSO Kft., an independent supply company, within the framework of the full liberalisation of the energy and gas market.
Apart from the technical tasks specified in the legal regulations, TIGÁZ-DSO Kft. also performs tasks closely related to its operation as an independent company and its internal decisions.
- TIGÁZ-DSO Földgázelosztó Kft. was established on 1 July 2007 for natural gas distribution, which was licensed by the Hungarian Energy Office.
- In December 2008, the company supplied natural gas on 1,094 settlements.
- Our Company supplies gas on approximately 33,000 km long gas distribution network.
- Natural gas is purchased from gas transportation companies at 136 supply points.
